Can I share important medical information with the child who was adopted?

Yes! In 2003, the law changed in Georgia allowing birth family members to share updated medical information when deemed critical to the well-being of the adopted person. Please contact our office and we will explain the process to you. If the child is younger than 18 years old, the important medical information will be given to the adoptive parent(s).
